History of School

VLS Group of Institutions, the brain child of Smt.Venkatalakshmi and Sri Shivanna took shape in the year 1979. This simple and visionary couple wanted to bring equality through education, among all the sections of the society, with their philanthropic outlook.

Sri Maruthi Vidya Mandira Society, another wing of VLS group, celebrated its silver jubilee in the year 2003-04, which provides education from Primary to Secondary level. The institution has grown in strength to strength and today, 3850 students are enrolled in these pious institutions.

In the academic session 2006-07, VLS International School came into existence, as the parents urged the management for the same. Since then, one can afford international standard with basic fee structure at VLS International School.

Now, to spread the same cheer among parents, 'VLS International Public School' has come up in Bharath Nagar I Stage, BEL Layout, Off Magadi main road. This school is an inclusive school; which caters to all without any boundation of physical, mental, caste, creed, religion and social background. It follows ICSE syllabus with International teaching methodology. Medium of Instruction is purely English. For the academic session, we are beginning with Pre-kindergarten to Grade V, with a plan to extend upto grade XII. We have NOC from Karnataka Government with the DISE Code: 29280201255.
